Super Mario Run is finally available on Android!

Image 1 What Android games to expect in 2017!

Back in January, we were told by Nintendo that Super Mario Run would be finding its way to Android sometime in March. Having been released for iOS in December, this was music to the ears of all Android users, or at least all of the Android users who enjoy a good platform game.

Well that time in March has now found us, with today (the 23rd of March) being the special day that Android gets to benefit from this game which took somewhere in the region of 78 million users on iOS alone. You’ll find the link to the game at the bottom of this article.

The game itself is free to download and you’ll be able to enjoy a couple of levels but if you want to enjoy the entire game, you’ll need to pay $10. While this might seem steep, for a company such as Nintendo to release a fully fledged game which would be console worthy, it’s actually rather cheap.

So what can you expect from Mario’s latest adventure? Well, gorgeously designed graphics are the first thing you’ll notice. The game has clearly been well polished and it’s aesthetically very pleasing to look at. The gameplay is also a pleasure to play. Your goal is to run from one end of the map to the other, collecting coins and avoiding/destroying obstacles and enemies along the way.

The controls work very fluidly and allow you to seamlessly jump, move, spin in the air and more with just simple taps of the screen. Your main goal will be to collect as many coins as possible, which you can use to build your own kingdom.

Each level boasts tons of coins too, with each map containing five hard-to-reach coins, which once you’ve grabbed, will be replaced with 5 more in an even harder position. There are three different sets of “difficult” coins in each level

The levels are short and sweet, with each one only taking a couple of minutes to complete, however if you decide to take up the challenge to hunt down the coins you’ll find this stretches out again and again, so you can enjoy some longevity with the gameplay.

Your best bet is to embark on this adventure yourself by tapping the download button below and seeing first-hand how great this mobile game is, which rivals the Mario selection available on Nintendo’s handheld consoles.
