If you are after some short sentences translating then this is the app for you. It’s not too fancy but it is highly accurate for most languages. It’ll struggle with pages of text but for a simple conversation, you’ll be learning and speaking in no time.

Microsoft Translator is a fantastic app for offline use. It has immediate translations and audio for over 28 languages and almost simultaneously translates using voice recognition. Overall it’s a fantastic alternative for translating and shouldn’t be passed up.
PONS Online Dictionary
There are loads of PONS apps out dedicated to specific languages but this is general for a bit of everything. It’s main strengths have to be for individual words or very short sentences but despite this it is a great app that does it’s job perfectly well.
