5 Apps Every MMA Fan Needs To Have Installed
It’s being hailed as one of the biggest fights to ever grace our screens. Of course, I’m talking about the Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Conor McGregor boxing match which is taking place in just a few days. There was a lot of speculation as to whether the fight would go ahead at all, and now after months of trash-talking action and marketing ploys to set up a record-breaking event, we have only days left to wait.
The Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Conor McGregor fight is scheduled to take place on the 26th of August, although depending where you are in the world will depend on what time you can watch it. (For example, if you live in the UK then the main event won’t actually start until around 4am on the 27th!).
To celebrate this fight of all fights, between a boxer who has never lost in his professional career, and a man who is the biggest MMA fighter around right now (but has never had a professional boxing match), we’ve found 5 great apps which any MMA fan needs to have installed. Take a look below and start getting hyped up for the big event.
EA SPORTS™ UFC
Experience UFC chaos in the palm of your hand with the official EA SPORTS UFC game for Android. While you can’t set up a Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Conor McGregor match in the app (because Mayweather isn’t in the UFC), you can play through a career as a UFC fighter and work your way to become champion. It’s a lot of fun, fighting and madness and any MMA fan should already have it.
UFC
Next up is the UFC TV app. This lets users view the fights of the UFC from their fingertips. It’s a great way of keeping up-to-date with all of the latest news and fights and you can watch footage from fights that have happened (just in case you missed it). It’s got a very user-friendly interface and is a great MMA app.
MMA Manager Free
MMA Manager is a fantastic simulation app which lets you build your own team of fighters. You’ll need to manage your gym, find local talent and eventually work your way up to the big time. There are a lot of aspect to it and it’s very satisfying training fighters up from small-time amateurs to fighters challenging for the world titles.
MMA Fighting Clash
Not quite as graphically pleasing as the EA SPORTS UFC app, but MMA Fighting Clash lets you pit fighters against each other (with you controlling one of them) and taking part in epic battles with bone-crunching attacks.
Sherdog
Sherdog is last on our list, and despite the name not giving much away, the app itself is a fantastic, and must-have app for anybody who is a fan of MMA. You can discover a wealth of facts, news, information, statistics and much more about everything MMA related all from the palm of your hand.
