Best Apps of December 2017 like Home Workout & Google Maps Go!
Yesterday we would have all woken up to see Santa had climbed down our chimneys and left us with loads of presents. Along with all of the alcohol we’ll drink between now and after the New Year, we’ll also no doubt be playing with all of our new toys. One of the most popular gifts at Christmas is a brand new Android smartphone.
In light of all of the new Android users who are exploring their devices today we’ve found 5 of the best Android apps for December 2017. We’ve got quite the mix of different things to suit all personalities, including a new-and-improved Google Maps. Take a look below and unlock some of the best apps to hit the store this month.
First on our list is the brand new Google Maps Go app. This ‘lite’ version of the standard Google Maps is designed specifically for those devices which might have low RAM or limited memory capacity. The app functions almost identically to the original though, allowing you to navigate around the world, locate restaurants, shops and ATM’s and it’s available in over 70 languages. It might not be worthwhile if you’re rocking the latest Samsung Galaxy app but for the low-end models, it’s perfect.
Next up we have YouTube Go. The app is developed by Google, so it’s no coincidence this app has been released at the same time as Google Maps Go. Essentially YouTube Go is just a lightweight version of the normal app. This means the app is only 9MB, gives you access to all of your favorite media and provides the option to download videos straight to your device to watch them offline.
We couldn’t make a list of apps without including something Christmas related. So say hello to the 3D Merry Christmas Theme app. If you’re new to Android (or more notably converting from iPhone to Android) then you’ll be glad to know that you can customize and personalize almost all aspects of your device. This means adding a cool Christmas theme to bring your screen to life is as simple as installing an app.
Trying to stay in shape while working 40+ hours a week can be very difficult. Not only can it be quite costly to commit to a gym membership but actually trying to stay motivated to go day-in-day-out can be tough. Well that’s where apps like Home Workout come into play. The app provides you with all the body-weight exercises you could imagine. You don’t need any equipment and can choose a routine which suits your mood. Stay determined for a few weeks and you will definitely notice the difference.
Mercari is last on our list. It’s a fantastic app which lets you buy and sell both new and used items. It’s a bit like eBay was when that first graced our lives. It is primarily used throughout the UK right now but you can be sure this app is going to keep growing in popularity and success. It’s a great app for anyone who wants to sell their stuff or do a little shopping.
