Best games of January 2018 Like Tom Clancy’s Shadow Break & WordCookies Cross!
January might have been the dreaded start of New Year resolutions and the realization that Christmas is almost an entire year away, but it isn’t all doom and gloom in the world. Luckily for us app developers have been working hard through the nights to produce for us some of the best Android games of January.
We’ve waded through the thousands of games which weren’t really worth your time and have finalized a list which contains 5 of the best Android games of January. You’ll find action, puzzles and even a little romance destruction too. What more could you want with the cold, winter days and nights that are engulfing us?
Tom Clancy’s ShadowBreak
First on our list and quite frankly one of the best games you’ll play for a while is Tom Clancy’s latest installment to the gaming world – Shadow Break. Shadow Break is an online PvP game which focuses heavily on strategy. The idea is that you take command of a squad, one that you build yourself, and then take on the world. You can choose different squad members depending on your style of play and can equip them accordingly. It’s a great game that puts a real focus on strategy and destroying your enemy.
Run Sausage Run!
Next we have Run Sausage Run and we have to admit, it’s a lot of fun! You play as a sausage. It doesn’t matter what kind of sausage (as there are multiple options to choose from), but ultimately you are a sausage. Then you embark on an endless running adventure where you need to test your reflexes and avoid a whole host of deadly obstacles for as long as you can. You can collect coins which are spent on power ups to keep you safe a bit longer. It’s a fun game with a good sense of humor.
WordCookies Cross
Want to flex those mental muscles of yours? Well then Word Cookies Cross is the game for you. It’s a word game which involves you solving crossword clues in order to decorate your cookies with icing. The premise is simple but it will test your knowledge and skill as you try to figure out the answers.
Spaceflight Simulator
Spaceflight Simulator is very much a love it or hate it kind of game, and we absolutely love it. It’s stunning and original, which always adds bonus points in our opinion. You first have to build a rocket and then fly it through space, landing on any planet or moon that you want. The gravitational elements are flawless and close-to-life and the game play is very realistic.
My Breakup Story – Interactive Story Game
Lastly we have My Breakup Story. Admittedly this isn’t for those action hungry players who want to blow things up. It is however directed towards a female audience who want to play through a story. You play Stella, a girl who had a very messy breakup from her ex. She awakens one day on that very scenario and you have to choose the right decisions and play through the break up again. Can you do it or will you be endlessly stuck in a loop?
