The live stream scheduling feature on Instagram is important as other Instagram users are prepared in advance for your upcoming live stream. Potential audiences will be able to tap on a scheduled live stream to view the details. They will also receive reminders the day before and 15 minutes before the live stream.

To schedule live streams on Instagram:
- Update your Instagram app to the latest version
- Launch the Instagram app by tapping on its icon
- While on the Home page, tap the add (+) button that appears at the top side of the screen
- On the page that appears, slide through the menu at the bottom of the screen and select LIVE
- On the menu that appears on the left side of the screen, tap the calendar icon
- On the space provided, add the video title
- Tap on the Start Time option and select the preferred start date for the live broadcast.
- When done, tap the “Schedule Live Stream” button
- Your live stream will be scheduled automatically. You can share the scheduled live video as a post on Instagram
