What is Instagram Map and How to Use it
Instagram, through its CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, recently reported that it had released a new map feature that would allow Instagram users to access and search a dynamic map on the platform. The new map feature allows Instagram users to filter, search, and view locations, stores, restaurants, or businesses from an up-to-date map.
According to Zuckerberg, the new update will give users a more dynamic experience when they try to spot popular spots within their surroundings. How the New Map Feature is Used
To use the map feature on Instagram, you need to have updated your Instagram app to the latest version. When a person tags a location on their Instagram feeds or stories, you can tap on the tag and then on the “See location” button that appears.
You will then be redirected to a map with the tagged location. You can then scroll through the map to get a better view and analysis of the target location. Instagram users can also use the explore tab on the app to search for places and tap on the search results that will redirect them to the map feature. Searched locations can also be saved and viewed later.
