- Launch the Instagram app on your Android device
- While on the launch page, tap on the profile icon located at the bottom right side of the screen
- While on the profile page, tap and hold on your current profile picture
- On the menu that appears, tap the avatar section to view settings under it
- Activate the toggle button next to “Add to profile picture”
- Your avatar will automatically appear as your profile picture.
