How to Pin & Favorite TikTok Comments on Android

TikTok has various built-in features that help improve user experience when using the app. As the popular TikTok users would know, TikTok allows its users to pin and add a comment as “favorite” on the TikTok app.

Pinning a comment on TikTok allows a specific comment on a post to appear on top of the comment section. When a creator on TikTok comes across an interesting or engaging comment, or they want to highlight an important piece of information from a comment, they can pin the specific comment so that other TikTok users can see the pinned comment when they visit the comment section.

Only owners of a TikTok video can pin or unpin a comment. When a comment is pinned, it will appear at the top of the comment section with a note labeled “Pinned” and a pin icon to alert other users that it is a pinned comment. The author of the pinned comment will also receive a notification that the owner of the video has pinned their comment.

Also, when you scroll through TikTok comments and come across an interesting comment, you can add it to Favorites. To pin a comment on TikTok:

• Launch TikTok and navigate to a video that you have posted

• Tap the comments icon to view the comments

• Scroll through the comments to find an interesting comment that you would like to pin

• Tap and hold on the specific comment

• On the menu that appears, tap on Pin Comment

• The comment will be automatically pinned at the top

To mark a TikTok comment as Favorite:

• Launch TikTok and navigate through the comments of any video that you like

• When you come across a comment that you would like to add to your favorite collection, tap and hold on to it.

• On the menu that appears, tap on the “Add to Favorites” option

• The comment will be added to your favorites collection and can be accessed from the Favorites tab on your profile.
