How to Pin Messages on WhatsApp
As a regular WhatsApp user, you can now pin messages on individual and group chats on WhatsApp. Through recent WhatsApp updates, it is possible to pin WhatsApp messages on individual and group chats. Pinning a message on either an individual or a group chat means that the specific message will appear at the top of the chat and will be seen as the first message in the thread.
With the new feature in place, WhatsApp users can pin images, videos, and documents in an individual chat making it easier for other WhatsApp users to view the messages. To pin messages on WhatsApp:
- Launch the WhatsApp app by tapping its icon
- Once launched, navigate to any individual or group chat that you wish to pin a message
- Scroll to find the specific message that you wish to pin. Tap and hold on the specific message to select it
- Once selected, tap the three vertical dots located at the top right side of the page
- On the menu that appears, tap on Pin
- Proceed to choose the period that the pinned message will last. Tap the Pin button when done.
- Your message will be pinned and will appear at the top of the top of the chat.
