This is why the news today that Google is developing their payment options to include PayPal will be music to the ears of Android customers who use the Google Play Store.
Currently, the Google Play Store has allowed customers to pay for their products using credit card, debit card, gift card or billing to a carrier. This new move makes purchasing any apps, music, visual media and books easier and more accessible to those with a PayPal account. The process will be simple: users will just add their PayPal details to their Google Wallet when they want to spend money. As Google rolls out their new PayPal plans, it will begin in 12 countries: the United States, Canada and Germany will be among the first lucky dozen. It is expected to expand to other countries once the service has proved successful.
More payment options at Google Play Store
Google hasn’t stopped there; they are making even more changes to their global billing service at the Google Play Store by increasing the amount of countries able to pay for their app purchases through their wireless bill; this service is called carrier billing service. 24 countries will now support this payment option.
Google gift cards are becoming an increasingly popular at the Google Play Store and with this new announcement, a total of 13 countries will be able to buy them. They can be redeemed on the web or through any Android device.
