How to Get Verified on Telegram

How to Get Verified on Telegram

Just like other top social media platforms like Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook, Telegram also has verified accounts. Verified accounts in the various social media platforms are represented by a badge next to the username of the specific account.

As is common knowledge, not all social media accounts can be verified. There are certain criteria and conditions that must be achieved for accounts to be verified. For Telegram, individual accounts cannot be verified. Only channels, groups, and bots can be verified.

Being verified on Telegram means that the account is genuine and authentic. This badge acts as a trust signal, distinguishing verified accounts from impersonators or fake profiles. Being verified enhances your credibility and trustworthiness, especially if you are a public figure, business, or brand. This piece highlights how you can get verified on Telegram. In a previous article, we discussed how to get verified on Instagram.
