How to Add Music to TikTok Videos

TikTok is a fast-growing social media platform that is gaining popularity daily. On TikTok, users can post their own short videos and even view and like videos from other users. TikTok users have access to various tools and effects that allow them to enhance their videos.

One of the commonly used effects on TikTok videos is music. It is possible to add music to your TikTok videos before posting them. Once you add music to your TikTok videos, the music will play along as your video plays. TikTok has a wide variety of music that users can choose from. To add music to TikTok videos:

• Launch the TikTok app on your device

• While on the launch page, tap the + button to record your new video, or upload a video from your gallery

• Once the video has been recorded or uploaded, tap the “Add sound” button that appears at the top of the screen

• On the page that appears, use the search function to search for the music that you wish to use

• Once you get the music you wish to add to your video, tap on it. The music will start playing.

• Tap the scissors icon on the music to edit the part of the music that you wish to add to your video

• Once you are satisfied with the music, you can also tap the volume icon at the bottom of the screen to adjust the volume of the added music

• When done proceed to add other effects to your videos before posting it

• When you post your video, the music you added will play alongside the video.
