How to See Who Saved Your TikTok Videos
TikTok allows users from across the globe to view and post short videos. By default, when scrolling through TikTok videos, users can save videos from other TikTok users to their devices’ galleries and use them on other external apps like Facebook or WhatsApp.
However, some people can be malicious and would want to use other people’s TikTok videos in the wrong way. This begs the question, is it possible to see who has saved your TikTok videos? Unfortunately, TikTok has no in-built feature that allows users to see who has saved their TikTok videos. However, you can still see who has liked or bookmarked your TikTok videos. In a previous related article, we discussed how you would find saved videos on TikTok.
The question of whether a TikTok user can download your videos solely depends on you because you can disable the video download feature from the app. You can also decide to make your account private and only restrict your content to only the people that follow you.
To disable and restrict TikTok users from downloading your videos:
- Launch TikTok and navigate to your profile page
- Tap the three horizontal bars located at the top right side of the page and navigate to Settings and privacy
- On the page that appears, tap on Privacy
- Under privacy, find Downloads and disable the toggle button next to it
- With the toggle button off, other TikTok users will not be able to download your videos. However, links to your videos can still be shared.
