• Launch the WhatsApp app on your Android device

• Navigate to the “Chats” tab to view your list of conversations.

• Select the contact that you want to block. Open the chat with that contact.

• Tap on the name or contact information at the top of the chat screen to access the contact’s profile.

• Scroll down and tap on the “Block” option. Confirm your decision when prompted.

• You will receive a confirmation message to confirm your decision. Tap the Block button.

• The contact is now blocked, and you will no longer receive messages or calls from them.

How to Report Spam Messages on WhatsApp

Reporting a spam message helps WhatsApp improve its anti-spam measures and keeps the community safer. To report a spam message:

• Open the chat containing the spam message you want to report.

• Tap and hold the spam message to reveal a menu.

• On the menu that appears, tap on the “Report” option.

• A pop-up confirmation message will appear, tap the Report button

• Your report will be submitted automatically to WhatsApp.
