How to remove Threads from Instagram profile

Instagram features and tools continue to grow as they seek to enhance user experience. Threads is one Instagram feature that is designed to help users connect more intimately with their close friends through a separate messaging app.

When an Instagram user sign up for Threads, they will see a special link in their Instagram profile. This link shows a number, which tells them what order they joined in. While Threads can be a useful tool for staying connected, there may come a time when you want to remove Threads from your Instagram profile.

Is it possible to remove threads from your Instagram profile? Yes, it is. Within the Instagram app, you can alter some setting that allows you to remove the Instagram threads. To remove Instagram Threads:

• Launch your Instagram app on your Android device

• Navigate to your profile page by tapping on the profile icon located at the bottom right side of the launch page

• While on the profile page, tap the “Edit Profile” button

• On the page that appears, tap the toggle button next to “Show Threads shortcut” to turn it off

• Save the changes by tapping the Tick button at the top right side of the screen

• You will have successfully removed threads from your Instagram profile.
