How to Share Videos With Instagram Notes

As you may be aware by now, Instagram Notes is a new feature on Instagram that allows users to post short stories that appear on top of the direct messages page. Once posted, Instagram notes can be seen by your followers who visit the direct messages page. Just like Instagram Stories, Notes disappear automatically after 24 hours.

To make Instagram Notes more interesting and interactive, users can add music to their Notes before posting them. In a previous related article, we discussed how you would add music to Instagram Notes. Just recently, Instagram introduced the ability to share videos with Instagram Notes. With the new feature, Instagram users can now share two-second looping videos on their notes.

When you post the two-second videos on Notes, they will be visible to your followers and will disappear automatically after 24 hours. This piece highlights how you can share videos with Instagram notes.

To share videos with Instagram Notes:

• Update your Instagram app to the latest version

• Launch the Instagram app by tapping on its icon

• While on the launch page, navigate to the messenger page by tapping the messenger icon located at the top right side of the screen

• While on the messenger page, tap on your profile picture to start creating a note

• You will be redirected to the note creation page. Type in your short note in the space provided

• To add your video, tap the camera icon that appears on the page

• You will be redirected to a page where you will record your two-second video using your device’s front camera. Tap the blue button to record your video

• Once your video is recorded, proceed to tap the tick icon

• Proceed to share your Note as you normally would.
