If you’ve ever had one of those weekends where you’ve taken compromising pictures or videos with your Android device, or if you just prefer to keep your images and videos private and safe from anybody, especially if you lose your device, then there’s an array of apps that make the process easy and simple.
1. First you need some form of photo hider app, or an app that protects your multimedia as well as other data. Apps such as Hide Pictures – Keep Safe Vault, Hide Pictures – Hide it Pro or Vault- Hide SMS, Pics & Videos, you can download them at the bottom of this tutorial.
2. You’ll need a master password, something you’ll never forget, to keep everything private and secure.
3. From within the app, select all of the photos or videos you want to store safely away from prying eyes and they’ll all get password protected.
4. Different apps offer different features, some allow you to password protect contacts or SMS conversations. Some even let you hide specific apps that you might be a bit embarrassed about.
5.Again this feature varies depending on the app, but you can set your photo hider app to take a photo of anybody who enters an incorrect password, giving the nosey person no way of denying their crimes.
6. To keep your files safer, every time your screen times out or the app closes, you’ll need to re-enter whatever master password you chose.
