Best Games of June 2016 like Zombie Castaways & Ninja Turtles: Legends
It’s sometimes difficult to find the best games of the month due to the sheer amount of new apps that are released to the store every day. You end up spending hours searching through lists and trying games and after about 5 minutes realize the game isn’t for you.
Rodeo Stampede
We all love a game that doesn’t involve too much complexity. That great feeling overtakes us as we shut off our brains and just have some mindless fun. Rodeo Stampede provides that. You’ll go through stages where you’re hopping from the back of one animal to another as you throw your lasso around them, and the next moment you’ll be walking through your zoo, taking a sense of pride in your tamed animals. It’s perfect to pick up and play and can make 10 minutes disappear into an hour.
Ninja Turtles: Legends
It could just be a coincidence that there is a new Ninja Turtles movie out in time with this game, but that doesn’t change the fact it’s a lot of fun to play. The basic premise of the game is that Leonardo is the only turtle left after his brothers were kidnapped. Now you’ll need to build a team to battle all kinds of enemies in turn-based action combat. To top it off, it’s kind of great to look at too.
Zombie Castaways
Who doesn’t love zombies? They seem to be all the craze every month of the year although this game takes a slightly different approach to our favorite human-eating little friends. You play a zombie who is in love with a girl, and he needs you to help him get Zombium to return him to his glorious human state again. In order to get it you need to grow strange crops, build structures and obtain resources as you complete missions. If you like city building with a dash of strategy, you’ll love Zombie Castaways.
Build Away! -Idle City Builder
Sticking to the city building theme, we have Build Away! There is a lot you can do here, from building cafes and banks to caravan parks and chicken shops. You can throw festivals, re-develop over existing plots, build up a wealth of tourism…I could go on. It’s a great city simulation game that whisks the time away as you effortlessly build up your empire.
Whack the Boss
Last on our list is Whack the Boss. If you love a game where there isn’t much of a story, where you don’t need to invest hours of your time just to learn the basics, then stop reading and download this game, right now. It’s pure entertainment at your fingertips. You literally just get to unwind and take out the frustrations of your day on your very own virtual boss. There are loads of way to do it too and it can be a lot of fun discovering new ways to make him…hurt.
