Apps which aren’t on Google Play that you should download!
The Google Play Store has millions of apps that are available to download, with hundreds upon hundreds of new ones added every single day. They cover a whole wealth of variety, from action games to useful tools that you can safely and easily install on your device.
There are however, a few gems that aren’t on the Play Store for whatever reason. We’ve decided to create a list of some of the best apps that you should download so take a look below and see what you think. As usual, if there’s an app you use a lot and you can’t find it on the Play Store, but it also isn’t in our list, then let us know in the comments.
Uptodown Android
This official Uptodown app allows you to access screenshots and descriptions of virtually any app ever made. It boasts a large catalog of different apps and provides in-depth descriptions for most of them. It’s a great app that allows you to access tons of apps and games. If you’re undecided about Uptodown but want to an alternative marketplace for your apps, then make sure you’ve got…ahem…our app installed on your device.
QuickLyric – Instant Lyrics
QuickLyric is a great app that lets you sing along to your favorite songs in an instant. You can search for lyrics manually, or let the app automatically detect what song is playing and then bring up the lyrics for you. It’s great for sing-along sessions and can get everyone involved if you want an impromptu moment of song.
CyanogenMod Installer
The CyanogenMod Installer lets you customize and alter aspects of your device without having to Root it. That means you can adjust things and have more freedom with the overall running of your Android device, while leaving the warranty intact by not Rooting it. If you want some to improve the overall performance of your Android then install this immediately, and thank us later!
TubeMate YouTube Downloader
With TubeMate YouTube Downloader you can…well the name kind of gives it away. It lets you download YouTube videos to your device. There are certain copyright implications that you need to bare in mind when you do but generally you can use it as you please.
Popcorn Time
Lastly, we have Popcorn Time. This app is a naughty addition to this list, and we by no means support or encourage any methods to stream or download content to watch. With that in mind, use it at your own risk and we hold no accountability for your actions. The app itself lets you stream digital content to your device, so if you want that fix of your favorite TV show, this app can help you on your way. (Some advice…Use a VPN before you do so…although it helps to constantly use a VPN to stay private and secure when you’re browsing).
