Best Religious Apps for Android
Ramadan is just around the corner, with the Holy month starting in the evening of the 26th of May and lasting until the 24th of June. As such we’ve found some great Android apps for Ramadan this year. However, despite Ramadan being a huge event, the US has a whole diverse array of different religions.
That’s why our list comprises of apps which are perfect for people observing the sacred month of Ramadan as well as those who are devout Christians or those who practice Judaism. Check out the list below to discover some of the best religious apps for Android.
Muslim Pro – Ramadan 2015
Muslim Pro starts our list (and don’t be put off by the 2015 title, the app is constantly updated to reflect each year). The app boasts many functions and features from some of the best Muslim apps out there and also includes accurate prayer times based on your location, notifies you of fasting times and has audio recitations of the Quran. You can even find Halal restaurants and Mosques within your area.
Bible
Second on our list is a great Bible app. The holy book can be easily stored on your Android device which allows you to quickly study and access it in 37 different languages. It can be read without being online and you can add bookmarks as you go through it, so you’ll always be able to find passages and pages which stand out for you.
Jewish bible in english free
In the number 3 slot of our list (which is in a completely random order) is the Jewish Bible. This app is perfect for anyone who practices Judaism and features the full Jewish bible in English. It’s a great resource to carry around with you and can be accessed with a few taps of your fingertips.
Quran Majeed
Quran Majeed is your virtual go-to Quran which you can carry around with you without needing to keep a big book in your hand. The whole Quran can be accessed from your Android device and you can read, study and search through the entire text at the touch of a button. It also boasts 45 different languages and you can listen to famous orators read it.
Grace To You
Lastly is Grace To You, which is an app that features the teaching ministry of Pastor John MacArthur. You can access tons and tons of sermon audio (And I mean tons…) along with video resources, archives, broadcasts and more. It’s a great tool for education of the Bible and should be on the device of any Christian who wants a way of learning and studying the Bible without carrying it around with you.
