WhatsApp launches new business features for customer service messages

WhatsApp doesn’t need much of an introduction. It’s one of the biggest global social entities in the world, and since it was purchased by Facebook it has continued to grow and expand in every way possible. WhatsApp is now rolling out brand new features for business users to help them stay connected with a growing customer base.

Not a great deal is known of what will be rolled out exactly, but we know that depending on the type of business you are (small, medium or a large corporation), you’ll either get some features for free or have to pay for additional benefits. One of the key implementations will be a green logo or badge beside your name which will help users to know you are an authentic business.

WhatsApp is used by businesses all the time, whether that’s a small coffee shop or an online enterprise just starting out, and as such it can be hard for customers to be able to trust all WhatsApp accounts that claim to be offering a service.

With the new WhatsApp features this won’t be a problem, as the green logo will guarantee that the business is legit and safe to use. Another major benefit is that Facebook owns WhatsApp, and Facebook definitely know what businesses are looking for and the best ways to help them enhance their customer base.

WhatsApp has been trying to figure out a way to monetize for a while now, and by offering large businesses, such as airlines or e-commerce, ways to improve and branch out their potential for a fee, they will have found that way of receiving an income from their user-base.

As more news and details are rolled out, you’ll be able to find out more information about what these business features will involve. For now however, if you are yourself a business that wants to improve the way WhatsApp can help you to progress and improve then keep your eyes focused on the new WhatsApp business app.
