Since its inception, Facebook has connected a lot of people across the globe. Each Facebook user has a unique list of friends and some end up even having mutual friends. By default, other Facebook users can access your profile and view your list of friends. They can then ask your friends to be their mutual friends.

However, some rogue Facebook users may use that feature to access your friends list and access their profiles for malicious reasons. To curb such behavior, Facebook, under their privacy settings, allows you to hide your friends on Facebook friends.

Hiding your Facebook friends involves changing the privacy setting to choose who will be able to view your friends list on your profile. This piece describes the simple steps that you could use to hide your Facebook friends on the Facebook app.

To hide your friends on the Facebook app:

• Launch the Facebook app by tapping on the app’s icon

• Tap the three vertical bars that appear on the top right side of the landing page

• Scroll down to Settings and tap on it

• Under the settings menu, scroll down to Privacy settings and tap on it to open

• While on the Privacy settings menu, scroll down to the group of settings under “How people can find and contact you”

• Tap on “Who can see your friends list”

• On the menu that appears, choose between the available options to select who you wish to see your friends list.
