Letgo App ready to Tackle Competitors like Cragislist & E-bay
It’s been only a few short months since we first reported on the new second-hand buy-and-sell startup, Letgo. Nonetheless, since then, Letgo has managed to make quite some noise on the market.
With its headquarters in Barcelona, this promising startup has been founded with an aim to become a number 1 go-to app for buying and selling secondhand items around the world, starting with the USA.
This is quite a quest since the US market has been heavily dominated by giants such as e-bay and Craigslist for years. However, Letgo co-founder, Alec Oxenford, argues that the US second-hand buy-and-sell market has been lagging behind in innovation when it comes to mobile. In this aspect, Lego offers a unique, fast and user-friendly way to buy and sell stuff locally via mobile.
Truth to the claim, within its short presence on the market, Letgo managed to score over 2 million downloads (users) with over half a million item listings already available via the app. Moreover, the app enjoys positive customer reviews of 4+ stars both on Google Play and iTunes, with many users describing the Letgo shopping experience as being faster and more ‘legit’ that Craigslist.
Besides its practicality, the app’s speedy success can be also attributed to its massive spot-on marketing campaign which made sure Letgo launch will not go unnoticed anywhere in the US.
If you don’t have the app yet and are curious to find out what’s all the hustle about, don’t hesitate and give it a try, thousands of bargains are waiting to be discovered!
