What is Telegram Premium and How to Use It

There is good and exciting news for Telegram users! Telegram has released the long-awaited premium version of the app. This means that Telegram users can subscribe to and enjoy the new upgraded features that come with the new Telegram premium.

According to a previous message by Pavel Durov, a co-founder of Telegram, the premium version of Telegram was set to be released in June 2022. Durov, through a published message on his official Telegram account, added that the current free features of Telegram will continue without being paid for.

Durov further explains that the main motivation for launching the Telegram Premium is to remove all the limitations from the platform as suggested by many users of the app. However, if the new unlimited features are to be released to everyone, the company would not afford the server costs.

For about $4.99, Telegram users can be able to subscribe to and enjoy Telegram Premium’s features. To use the new Telegram Premium, telegram users are required to update the app to the latest version and access the premium section from the settings. Features Expected in the new Telegram Premium app

Some of the features that will be included in the new Telegram premium app include:

• Faster downloads: there will be no limit on the speed of downloading files and multimedia.

• Ad-free: Ads that appear in channels will no longer be available

• Mark on profile: A check mark next to the username showing that you are a premium subscriber.

• Advanced chat management: Users will be able to choose the default chat folder, auto-archive, and hide new chats from people who are not in the contact list.

• Larger file uploads: the maximum size for uploaded files will go up from 2 to 4 Gb

• Exclusive reactions: Users will have access to and use animated reactions on messages

• Speech to text conversion: Users will be able to convert any voice messages to text

• Premium stickers: large stickers with additional effects, updated every month.

• Animated profile pictures
