PAC-MAN Comes to life on the Big Screen: PIXELS – The Movie
Heads up Pac-Man lovers! Columbia Pictures and Happy Madison Productions prepared a real treat for us this summer! PAC-MAN is coming to the cinemas!
Pac-Man, originally an arcade game developed by Namco was first released in 1980, skyrocketed to popularity within months of its release and has remained an icon of the 80s pop culture until today.
The original game, as well as its later derivatives, became a social phenomenon. In fact, Pac-Man appeared in more tan 30 officially licenced game spin-offs and innumerable unauthorised game clones over the years… Today, in the smartphone era, any of us can carry a game of Pac-Man in your pocket.
And finally, this summer we get to see Pacman starring in a movie! What is it about? An alien race translated Pacman game as a war thread from the Earth and created its life version to attack our planet… Pac-Man will attempt to turn us all into pixels… but that’s enough talking!
