Angry Birds 2 Coming out on 30 July!
It’s been a long, long time since the original Angry Birds first lit up the PlayStore, but now Rovio have finally announced a sequel to the much-loved franchise. Although they have released many spin-off games, like Angry Bird Star Wars and Bad Piggies to name two (there are loads more available) this is the first official sequel to Angry Birds.
The term sequel might be a bit much given the amount of different chapters Rovio have released, but none the less its definitely worth getting excited about.
Hopefully they have come up with some innovative new way to breathe some new life into the franchise, which despite still being incredibly popular among Android users, people are starting to get bored and tired of the series. Maybe they’ll add some amazing new graphics or improve on the gameplay in some way, or perhaps it will be very much just more of the same, simply hoping the name alone will attract a new audience.
We can speculate forever, all that is really known is the sequel hits the Google PlayStore on July 30th and it is sure to gain attention.
