New, Exciting WhatsApp Updates!
WhatsApp is immensely popular thanks to its innovative way to communicate for free when in WiFi or using your device’s data plan. However, as with even the most popular apps around, there is always a room for improvement. That’s exactly what the new update does for WhatsApp! It adds some great new features that are a welcome addition to the messaging service.
One of the most heavily user-requested features is to star messages for quick access later. This new update provides this by simply tapping and holding on any message in a chat. While it’s only a small feature, it’s something that goes a long way with users. Another small but useful addition is when you are sending links.
You now have the option to send rich previews with each link you might share in your conversations. You don’t have too, but the option is handy. Lastly support for Direct Sharing has been implemented. Basically rather than clicking the share button on a file, navigating down the WhatsApp and then selecting your contact, you can now do it all from within the app. While none of the updates are huge, they are all handy and help create a more seamless social experience when chatting and sharing.
