How to Change Your LED Notification Colors on Android
One of the many things Android benefits from which might be lacking on the iOS side of the pond is the customization options you have at your fingertips. Almost nothing is safe or beyond reach with the options to change themes, wallpapers, notifications, layouts, icons, menus and so much more.
These endless customization options are what initially draw users to Android devices; unless you take into account the overall performance quality of devices such as the latest Samsung Galaxy lines against the iOS equivalent. A very fun advert by Samsung sums it up pretty well.
Once you’ve played around with your initial choices and have adjusted the layout accordingly, you may be wondering what is left to do. Well shy of installing a launcher and opening up your options even further, you can adjust the LED colors on your Android.
To do this we’ll need to download and install a simple app: Light Manager – LED Settings. This gives us an array of different options. We can set different applications to flash a different color notification. This is particularly useful to aid us in looking at our phone less. We can easily see from the color whether the message we have is important or whether it’s just an e-mail saying somebody commented on our Facebook post.

The app is completely free if you can put up with a banner advert, otherwise you can pay for a seamless experience without any ads. Once installed, simply open it and navigate around the different menus and screens on offer. You’ll be able to assign different colors to different things before closing the app and letting it work its magic.
