Along with a load of cool new features, WhatsApp also has a couple of flaws for certain users. The sometimes frustrating blue ticks would be one of these. Those ticks which let us know when we are being ignored. Another annoyance is the whole ‘Active Now’ or ‘Last seen…’ information.
Now you can edit your settings to prevent some of this information from being displayed but this article is all about how to reply to WhatsApp messages without appearing online at all. This can be useful if you don’t want your contacts to know you have been online recently but you still want to communicate to some of them.
So how is this feat accomplished? How do we reply to an online communication service without going online? Easy…read on to find out.
Reply on WhatsApp without appearing online:
– First you’ll want to disable your Wi-Fi and if you use mobile data then turn this off as well. Then open up the conversation you wish to reply to.
– Write and send your message. As you are completely offline you won’t be able to browse the online catalogs for GIF’s but you can still reply properly with text.
– Close your WhatsApp application and turn your Wi-Fi and/or mobile data back on.
That’s it. That’s all there is to it. Once you regain your connection and WhatsApp delivers your message, your contact will receive it but as far as the world is concerned you’ve still not been online. It’s a great little trick to get out of having to reply to certain conversations.
WhatsApp is a fantastic communication app that is designed for the sole purpose of bringing people together and letting them chat to each other for free. All you need is their mobile number and you can begin chatting. You can also send and receive audio files, images, videos GIF’s and documents. It’s no wonder it’s one of the worlds’ most used social apps.
