WhatsApp Tips: How to Add Messenger like Chat Bubbles on WhatsApp

image 2 - WhatsApp Tips: How to Add Messenger like Chat Bubbles on WhatsApp

Although chat heads (aka chat bubbles) are not natively available on WhatsApp, it is possible to add them using a third-party app.  Oops, before I begin I had better make sure everyone knows what chat bubbles are…

You know how when you’re playing a game or surfing the web and a little bubble pops up when someone wants to chat with you on Messenger? That’s a chat bubble. They enable you to quickly respond without opening the app itself. Sure, the latest release of Android lets you respond directly from the Notification menu. However, what if you’re using an older version of Android or need to manage multiple messenger apps at the same time? You’re going to need a third-party app.

Ok, so let’s see how we can add this functionality to WhatsApp using a few different apps. Here’s a quick overview of four different apps that you can use to add chat bubbles to WhatsApp:

DirectChat: Probably one of the most popular apps for managing various messenger apps. Works with a ton of different chat apps including WhatsApp and Skype.

Notifly: (Note that the title contains an ‘l’!) Notifly is similar to Direct Chat in that it allows you to manage a bunch of different chat apps via one application.

Flychat: Flychat is another application that allows you to not only add chat bubbles for WhatsApp but for a lot of other messenger apps as well.

WhatsBubble: As you can probably guess from the title, this app has a more narrow focus. It does one job: Brings Facebook Messenger features to WhatsApp, including chat bubbles.

Try one, try them all!  Be sure to leave me a comment below and let me know which one you decided to go with!
