Have a Problem with WhatsApp? Here are the Solutions

Sure, there are lots of alternatives out there to WhatsApp. Have you ever heard anyone saying they prefer another messaging service to WhatsApp? I haven’t. All I see are friends and family freaking out whenever there’s a glitch in the service!

So, what do you do when there’s a problem with WhatsApp? The good news is that most of the time the problem is something that we ourselves can fix. So, read on because I’m going to tell you how to solve the most common problems with WhatsApp. Chances are, you’ll find the solution here in this short post.  Are you ready?  Let’s go!

Do you have the latest version of WhatsApp?

Whenever you encounter a problem with any type of software the first thing you should do is check to make sure you have the latest version. This is easy to do with WhatsApp. Just go to Google Play and see if you have the option to update. If you do, that means you’re running an older version. So, go ahead and update WhatsApp. This may solve the problem.

Delete the cache

You can also try deleting the WhatsApp cache. You can do this by going to:

Settings > Apps > WhatsApp > Storage > Clear cache

Do you have Internet?

Don’t laugh. Sometimes the problem is just this simple. Just quickly check to make sure you do.

Does WhatsApp need to be unblocked? Use a VPN.

Some countries have, at times, blocked access to WhatsApp. If that’s happening to you, you can always use a VPN to access the app.

Did you receive WhatsApp activation code and properly enter it?

Merely downloading and installing WhatsApp isn’t enough. You also have to activate it. Did you receive the activation code? Perhaps you didn’t enter it correctly. If you didn’t receive an activation code maybe you entered the wrong phone number.

The best course of action is to repeat the process. Make sure that you’re doing everything correctly. Oh, and make sure that the number you’re using doesn’t already have a WhatsApp account associated with it.
