Post Instagram Stories Longer Than 15 Seconds on Android
Sure, Instagram only allows you to record 15-second videos. You probably already know that. However, that doesn’t mean that you can’t record a longer video. You see, Instagram just divides the video up into segments that are each 15 seconds long.
That’s it! Really. It’s just that simple. In other words, all you need to do is keep recording! Let me show you how it works…
Step 1: Open up Instagram and click on the button in the top left to start recording your story.
Step 2: Start recording by holding down the Record button.
Step 3: As soon as your recording is 15 seconds long it will jump to start recording another 15-second video, and so on. It will keep creating 15-second videos as long as you keep holding the Record button down. In other words, Instagram is automatically splitting the video for you!.
Step 4: When you’re done, you’ll see all the 15-second fragments of your video at the bottom. At this point you can edit them by adding effects, using filters etc.
Step 5: Click Next to complete the video production process.
I know. You’re probably thinking, wow, that’s all there is? Yes, that’s all!. All you need to do is keep holding the Record button down!
As usual, leave me a comment below and let me know how ridiculously easy this was!
